2. Safety and security

At Majeste Car Rental, your safety is our top priority. For enhanced security and protection, all our vehicles are equipped with a dash camera.
Do not disable or turn off the dash cam during your rental period. It is installed to ensure the safety of both our clients and our assets. A penalty of ₱2,000 will apply.
Your privacy is respected. All recorded footage will be kept strictly confidential and will only be reviewed if necessary for safety, legal, or insurance purposes.
Majeste Car Rental reserves the right to access and use dash cam footage in accordance with applicable laws and our privacy policy.

3. Fuel and cleanliness

We practice full tank release-full tank return policy. If the vehicle is returned without refilling the fuel, the renter shall pay the amount depending on how much volume of fuel is refilled.
All our vehicles are prepared clean and ready for use. A car wash fee of ₱200 (Vios) or ₱260 (Innova) applies.

5. Smoking & illegal substance policy

Smoking and/or vaping is prohibited inside the vehicle at all times.
Use of illegal drugs is prohibited inside the vehicle at all times.
In cases that a violation occurred, the renter shall settle a violation fee of ₱5,000 upon return of the vehicle.

6. Liabilities

6.1 Traffic violations

All traffic violations must me settled by the renter.
If the vehicle has been caught thru NCAP, the renter shall take responsibility for the citation given by the MMDA.

6.2 External damage

The renter shall be held responsible for all damages to the vehicle occurred during the rental period.
The renter must shoulder all costs of repair. This applies for both minor and major repairs.
In the event of flooding and/or major accident and the vehicle is declared total loss, the renter must pay 100% of the vehicle's value at time of release from the dealership.

6.3 Internal damage

The renter shall be held responsible for all damages inside the vehicle. This includes, but not limited to, seat cover reaps, stains, and deep scratches.
If an accessory is lost or damaged, the renter shall pay an equal amount of the item.
In the event of large amount of water spillage or beverages such as coffee, soda, etc., the renter must shoulder the cost of interior detailing.

6.4 Downtime fee

A downtime is when the vehicle is not able for booking due to repairs or detailing. On top of all the repair costs needed, the renter shall pay a downtime fee equivalent to 24 hours of rent.

7. Illegal activities, firearms, & other deadly weapons

Any illegal activity that may involve the vehicle is prohibited.
Firearms & any other deadly weapon is prohibited inside the vehicle during the rental period.
Discovery of such activities or items will result in immediate liability and reporting to authorities.

8. Third-party use

Renting the car to a third-party is not allowed.
Renter is fully responsible for any damages, disputes, or legal issues arising from unauthorized use.
The vehicle, however, is allowed to be driven by a third-party given that the renter is present at the time.

9. Cancellation & refund policy

Reservation fees are non-refundable.
Unused rental days are non-refundable.
All consumables such as fuel, RFID, etc., are non-refundable.
Cash deposit (if applicable) will be refunded only if vehicle is returned to it’s current state/condition on the day of release.

10. Vehicle condition documentation

MAJESTÉ Car Rental encourages the renter to perform a documentation of the vehicle prior to its release.
The renter has all the rights to take photos and/or videos of all current damages/scratches of the vehicle.
